The Air Jordan 9 Boot NRG “Black Gum” Is Returning Again In 2025

Fall and winter is around the corner which means the boots are on their way and Jordan Brand is bringing back the Air Jordan 9 Boot.

First released in 2017, the sneaker boot features an all-black water-resistant upper, using a mix of suede and leather throughout. D-rings are utilized for the laces for extra rigidity with a gusseted tongue. The standout feature is the gum outsole, which features a rugged and durable outsole to withstand harsh and icy conditions.

The Air Jordan 9 Boot NRG “Black Gum” has started resurfacing on September 8, 2025 across select retailers for $230. However, there has been no announcement of an official release date from Nike as of yet.
