Considered to be one of Nike’s classic icons, the Air Force 1 continues to receive special treatment with the latest having a 3M overlay on the toe, midfoot, and heel areas while a Snakeskin Swoosh pops out from the side panel. This is another pair of a well done make-over on the Nike Air Force 1 as offered at 21 Mercer Street’s Bespoke area. A two-toned Brown denim covering the sneaker’s front and midsection including the Swoosh and a Brown/Teal Safari-look leather on the heel. A touch of Yellow was applied on the midsole and laces that gives the earth colors a break. The sneaker also features crisscross stitching on the panels which made it really exceptional and rare. The originally Nike Air Force 1 Basketball shoe just turned into a football kick after being given to a few who made it to Honolulu a week after Super Bowl XLIII. The new version of the AF1 features Blue premium leather and suede upper with rocks and archipelago pattern on the rear quarter area as a tribute to the NFL home for the last 30 years. Nike Air Force 1 Low for women has its new release in solid Yellow upper and mid-sole with White out-sole and Swoosh. It features an embossed croc around the toe-box and heel. Watch out for its release within this year. [KixandTheCity]
The notable thing about this release that it uses various materials in one shoe from the heel tab to toe. There’s grey smooth leather from the toe and then textured leather in the mid panel, then croc embosed leather at the heel and finally a Nubuck at the heel tab. The best feature and adding a contrast is the Red Nubuck Swoosh, plus red laces and red outsold. I didn’t realize the Red looks so much good on Grey.
